I teach creative writing.

I have nearly two decades of experience teaching creative writing.

I have taught for the University of Iowa, Castilleja School, and Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies.

I spent eight consecutive summers working for Iowa Young Writers’ Studio. I went on to design their first online poetry courses.

As a teacher, writing coach, and developmental editor, I’ve worked with writers from all walks of life and of all ability levels. (Doctors, other authors, James Beard-winning food people, retirees - you name it.)
